Annette shot a worried glance at the corporal, who put one thumb up, and then turned her face to Riley.
"Hi Riley," with a gaze that could rip the souls out of lions. "What brings you here?"
"Actually im here to apologize to both of you. I acted very unprofessionally and it was out of line."

The corporal on the ground burst out laughing- "Kid, it's alright, no need for the apology, I was being a dick." He made an attempt to pull himself up before turning to the boy, "Give me a hand?"
