Annette looked at the girl, how her hips swayed so gracefully like winds on tall grass. How she stepped lightly but with such force. She seemed so free and completely consumed by the own song she created with her own purpose. She looked away to find Emil completely fascinated as well.
"She's really pretty isn't she?" Annette smiled to the black haired boy.

"Wh-" he jumped, flushing brightly, "Uh, yeah, exactly what I was thinking." He shifts awkwardly, not meeting Annette's eyes.
A particularly bright, pink lamp lights up the embarrassment on his face when the dark man at the head snorted in amusement.

Annette let her own tiny giggle leak out. Annette's laugh was too high pitched and quiet for the appearance she had made for herself. It was rarely heard because of this, but Riley could admit that he loved every single little giggle that left her chest.
His respond to that little giggle was a smile of his own and a hand on hers.
Annette did not mind as they kept walking.

The lamps were more concentrated further in, illuminating the ground in all colors, spots of color and light and bright fabric on walls and draping across each other in a makeshift roof.
They came to a closed off section, from which a voice like bells

Harvey tightened his hand around Annette's, bracing himself for the absolute terror that could lie within. The door opened and they walked forward.

"Sir, we encountered a problem." The dark man said once they had entered. "These people claim inability to pay the visitor's tax."
A pair of mismatching eyes looked up and over, their owner laying limply across clashing fabrics layered across in a rough bed of some sort. "...And?" The odd-eyed boy prompted, lifting an eyebrow. "You are to deal with these issues Dalen, not me."

"And how is that my problem?" He pressed, somehow managing to jump up from his sprawled position like a cat, stalking over, dramatically lit like everything else was in the soft light of the colored lanterns. "Pay, with something, I don't care what."

"Well what do you want?" Annette said very confused at his disinterest.
Harvey stopped trembling and let go of his sister as the man drew closer, was he getting shorter?
The man stopped a few feet and front of him, and he had to look down to look the "scary" man in the eyes. Harvey couldn't contain himself. He was scared of someone like that?
His small laughter was heard in the fairly quiet room.

He had opened his mouth to respond, and then was cut off by laughter. "Is something fu- oh..."
His head had tilted back and let out pearls of exhausted laughter, hair red and bright and shimmery like the fire gypsies danced with in Italy.
By the time he picked his jaw off the floor, a noticeable amount of time had passed, and his right hand was looking worriedly at him, as if considering if he should intervene.

"I'm so sorry..." Harvey still showing his rare smile. He looked into the eyes of the man in front of him. Blue and brown? He hasn't seen anything so strange on a person before but it was so... fitting? So nice?

His heart dropped through the floor and his mouth opened but no words came out. Was it weird to wish you could press and dry a smile like he did flowers when he was little?

"Are you sure? Im sorry if I upset you." Harvey's smile turned more of concerned, and his heart sunk a little. For some reason he felt too strong of a guilt for maybe upsetting him.

Annette looked around to everyone, making sure they were okay with this...
"I don't see why not." She decided and looked again to her brother who was staring calmly at the short man.
"I'm Annette, and this is Harvey." He snapped out of his stare and blushed slightly. Annette then went around and introduced the other four in the group.
