She roamed around the hallways exploring each and every beautiful machine room. It really was a perfectly designed ship. She passed a door with the name of the corporal displayed on it. She smiled at the engaving before continuing on her adventure through the Maelstrom.

Annette froze. She listened to the voices but her mind was clouded with grief. Was this my fault?
She then realized what Elle had said. Oliver? As in the general? What did he have to do with this?

Annette froze, wanting to scream but knowing it would only do harm to her. She flinched at the sight of the knife so close to her, and the demon of a man locking her head, making her unable to move. She tried to move her arm to get out of the mans grasp but realized she couldn't. She gave up fighting and tears formed in her eyes. She had never before been so afraid to die.

The tone of his voice slid darker and darker as he spoke, eyes flashing with rage. Annette laughed out in a quiet way. This was not the time to release the inner sass beast that lied within, but the gates of common sense could no longer contain it.
"Preferably the first option, sir." She was on the verge of tears but refused to let the General know that. 'Why the hell did I just do that.' She screamed to herself.
