He sat at a barstool style chair on the opposite side of the island Deryk had been placed on. "Well, there's the matter of what I want to do versus what I should do." Reaching up to pull the brunette across the surface and lowering him into his lap, he grinned, "And while I'm sure my interests couldn't be more obvious, I'm not a sadist, and taking a break would be in your best interest."
