"Keeping those observations to yourself will be beneficial Mr. Riley." The general said, from where he seemed to have teleported back to his desk. Not looking up from the papers he was examining at the moment except for to make a beckoning motion and say, "Varus, over here."

Again, without question, the blonde she respected took the order in stride, complying to the biggest asshole in the world's every whim. In moments he had crossed the obnoxiously sized office. "What is it?"

"Here, after the list of trace elements left in the explosion, about the gunpowder residue." Varus shuffled in closer to the desk to look down at the article, entirely oblivious to the near to war that had been fought over him. So much so invested in reading the findings on the Hera's wreck, that he didn't make a sound of alarm, or even seem to notice, when General Sol leaned in to watch his notes being scribbled on the side of the paper. He didn't flinch like Annette likely wanted to when Oliver rested his chin on thee shorter man's shoulder, close enough to make it obvious the entire thing had been to reinforce what he had said before. "Corporal Varus Collins is mine."

"Annette!" Hazel-green eyes looked up at her, yet to process the proximity of Oliver and turn bright red. "Come here, weren't you on the crew for the propellers? You need to see this!" He spoke faster than usual when he was this excited about something, and within moments, he was buried in the stack of papers once again.

Oliver, meanwhile, akin to a five year old boy who got the toy none of the other kids got, had turned his head inwards towards the blonde's neck and was smirking triumphantly at Annette as Varus, amazingly still failed to notice the dark haired man's antics.

"Here," He pointed to an extensive section involving something about evidence the propeller had been cut. Meanwhile Oliver glared pointedly at the redhead before turning his mouth against the smaller man's neck, nipping there only to be met with a light smack from Varus but no vocal arguments.

Seemingly satisfied for now, Oliver returned his chin to the blonde's shoulder, "Anything interesting Varus?" He asked, somewhat lazily, eyes trained on Annette as he spoke, superior look on his face.
"Well there's nothing on your vampire status, but seeing as it's on the crash I expected as much." He swatted at a finger approaching to tap him on the cheek, "Annette, what do you think about this sabotage business, they said it looked like someone had cut the directional propellers, that would explain why our course wasn't changing through that storm."
