Varus only rolled his eyes at their antics, "Are you two going to hurry up, or am I going to be late for my own ship's takeoff?" Was his snappy response, eyes narrowing as he snapped to face them.

The Corporal scoffed audibly, turning a corner sharply and neatly dodging the woman that had been approaching the same corner, altogether too smooth for someone who had recently been impaled by a lead pipe.

"Sorry that I happen to be a very heavy sleeper." She said rubbing her eyes, and standing up, the assisting the other girl that had fallen in her attempt to get up. She poceded to start a jog to catch up to the Corporal. He's been through rather much, so you cant blame him for being uptight...

She sighed silently as she followed the two through the door. The very large showy blimp stood in front of them and a line, now very short, lead into the gondola of the zepplin.

Wide strides took the blonde across the walkways, ignoring the glances he got, as though no one was there but him, shoulders back, head high, an attention to posture that was almost unsettling in the corporal, "I asked for arrangements to be made for showing you around, Finely, as you aren't the only new member joining my crew, know that I don't accept slacking here." His eyes darted to the side to focus on the redhead for a few moments.

"I don't believe," He began, no note of sympathy in his voice, "That the transfer work ever was completed, Private Riley won't be joining us until further notice." As he finished shortly, he swung open a door to their left.

Annette stopped in her tracks. He couldn't of said that before? Riley had been following them the entire time. She turned to the brunette, no, her best friend.
"So this is goodbye, at least for a while." Riley looked at her with sadness in his bright green eyes.
"I guess so. Thank God the post exists." She stared up at him with the same dejection. She stared down at the floor and smiles, but was pulled into a tight embrace.
"Don't blow up another ship okay?" He whispered.
"No promises." She laughed pulling back and heading to the door the Corporal had walked through. She stopped and looked back at him in the doorway. "Thank you Thomas."
She dissappeared through the door.

"No, sir." She sighed. And walked over to the line of new crewmembers who stared at her strangely. Either the fact that she had just been talking to a corporal of the fact that she only had one arm seemed to suprise them.
