PERSONALITY,
Everett is a quieter, dedicated person. He is the type to work endlessly to make someone happy or to achieve something of his own goals, or in his case, to preserve a family and personal wish. He is very family oriented, and it is very important for him to be able to keep tabs on his siblings and friends. He follows his heart, but is quick to follow laws and codes if he believes them to be just or right. His heart lies with his country, but most importantly those he loves. If he must, he will defy his allegence to his country to keep his family safe.
He follows closely to societied formalities and rules, and olnly breaks them when he feels necessary.

HISTORY,
Everett was raised in a large apartment above his grandfather, James Finely's workshop and store in New York City. He found himself often in a nearby park or in his own room, studying and learning according to his mothers wishes. His mother, Marie, was stone set on raising her child to be a proper man while his father was at war.
From the time he could talk, Everett's family of soldiers and military doctors instilled the idea of military service into his head. He would screetch in delight every time his father, Joesph Finely, a minor squad leader generally assigned to train newer troops, would come home. He set himself on a path from a very early age to ensure he would go into the military by attending a school specifically for kids with military wishes. He attended this school from the age of 8 to the age of 16, when he graduated at the top of his class, in which he found himself without many friends, but with a natural ability of slight manipulation and powerful speaking skills.
His little sister Annette was born when he was 10, after his father had come home for a three year break after being at war for around 8 years, and he somehow welcomed the tiny girl with a large fondness for her. He founded a likeness to the girls louder, excited nature, and plain sassy personality from the time she was able to commuicate. The similarities between the small girl and his mother were uncanny, as he found the difference between the two children to be extremely drastic.
His brother, Harvey, was born when Everett was 12, with many complications. His mother died very shortly after she brought Harvey into the world, and it seemed likely that his little brother wouldn't surive either. He eventually started progressing towards health, but the sickly nature from the first few months of his life continued throughput his life. Everett found the house to be a little empty after the loss of his mother, but that was soon filled when his little brother gained the ability to walk. Everett enjoyed reading to the two little children, though Harvey always seemed to enjoy the books and maps Everett read more than his sister did.
Around the time his mother died, Everett found himself escaping to the park more, whether to let out his feelings or to attempt to hide from them.
He also found that a good night's sleep would become a rarity, as his dreams were plagued with nightmares of family deaths, a trait he would later learn his father also had when he was away from them. Everett spent the time he couldn't sleep studying more and more and despity his common look of sleeplessness, he became more sucessful in school.
Everett and his younger siblings were almost entirely raised by their Grandfather from that point on, and despite the fact that he liked his Grandfather, they had major differences in ideals and Everett thought his grandfather meddled too much affairs that weren't his.
Everett's life changed completely when he was fifteen, in which his Grandfather half Apprenticed, half Adopted a 17 year old, wheelchair confined, girl named Esther Du'Carmont. Everett had heard the young woman's past and her childhood in a brothel, but such a usually scandalous relation with her didn't bother him. He found himself being able to speak his mind around her, and his heart eventually set itself on her. In the year they had before Everett went into the military, they bonded and Everett came to realize he loved here more than anything and soon realized she loved him back. In this year Everetts nightmares slowed as they were replaced with happy dreams about her. At one point, she wrote the phrase "I'm still here" on his chest near his heart, and he later got this tatooed on himself.
When he graduated the Military Academy, he was recruited to start training for a secret intellegence agency, having to do with military affairs only. In the first night he spent with the other recruits, he dreamed about Esther and somehow began to sing in his sleep. The other recruits dubbed him "Finch" from that day forward, and the name would stick all throughout his military career.
That year, he recieved a letter stating his father had died in a mustard gas accident during a training exercise, and his nightmares slowly came back as he grieved the loss. He kept a constant stream of letters with Esther, who helped him through this, but his worst nightmares would come true when she suddenly stopped responding. He vowed to find her one day, convinced she was still alive and out there.
He would return home whenever he could and maintained good realtions with his siblings, as well as always attempting to find Esther.
Two years after Everett joined the military, he met a 20 year old frenchman named Emil Sol, who also seemed to have trouble establishing relationships with people, and somehow befriended him.
When he was 19, he recieved a letter saying his Grandfather had been murdered, and that his younger siblings were to live with their Aunt. Everett never really liked that aunt that much, seeing as he distinctly remembered her dissaproving of his mother, but there was nothing he could do. He was given permission to return to New York to attend the funeral, and help his younger siblings cope with the loss. Annette was the most affected, having personally witnessed the gory murder, and she refused to communicate for the entirety og he time he was there. When forced to return, he asked Harvey to continue her strain of letters or help her write them, then left worriedly to return to duty.
Everett quickly moved up the ranks, and at a higher rank he finally recieved a sign that Esther was still alive, albeit a bloody sign. At sights of slaughters and obvious hired kills, an insignia of a sun was branded on the bodies or written on nearby walls, the same symbol Everett had drawn on the inside of her leg, a very long time ago. As he gained military power, e begn skewing any files on Esther to make sure she wouldn't get caught.
Everett eventually was promoted to Director of the Intellegence unit, and became one of the most influential persons in the United States military.
