"Good morning Jack!" The tall ginger smiled outside the door to the 'throne room' knocking a few times on the door to ask for admittance. Annette stared at him, the only time he had ever smiled like that was at her when they were little, and she would come home from school. The tiny smile and the tilted head was one of the few things he had never done around anyone, of course, anyone other than her.
She had the same small tilted grin reserved for the people who really needed it.

He startled at the sound of knocking, and the voice of the very person he'd been thinking about, and promptly slid, smoothly (Fell, clumbsily.) out of the chair.
"AH- uh, just a moment!"

"Oh- I'm fine, just, dropped something" Came from the other side of the door, where the heterochromiac was pulling himself to his feet, reminding himself it wasn't a lie, he had dropped his dignity.

The door swung open, unlike yesterday, when he had just had just a red canvas shirt and leather pants, there was a sort of brown hooded cloak covering it, casting shadows over his eyes and flattening his hair. "Uh, come on in."

Harvey stood there for a moment, a red tint appearing on his cheaks and eyes wide open. He didn't understand how just a simple change in clothing could make someone seem like more of an adventure then just a day before.
Annette nudged him forward, snapping him out of his small trance and making the pink of his face just a smidge brighter.

The flush on his face made Jack decide it was entirely worth having fallen out of a chair to open this door. He sidestepped to let them into the room, "Any of you see my dog around while you were out there? Rude, about yay tall?" his hand couldn't quite reach the height he was displaying unless he stood on his toes, which he absolutely refused to do. "Sometimes makes rude comments, gets real mad about people not listening to him?"
He tapped a finger on his jaw as if considering, "Dark hair and broods a lot."

"Keeps what exactly up?" Annette asked. She was not sure she could trust these people, seeing as they forced her into a job she still had no idea of the criteria involved.

He made some vague hand motions, turning as he did so, as if it should be obvious. "He was supposed to be the one to take half of your group out, seeing as Kaden isn't here to do it, but as he isn't here, I'll be the one doing that, Figured I'd give you warning, you've got like," he looked directly up, rather than picking out a pocket watch. "Three or Four hours, meet me here then."

"Fine." Annette said ushering her crowd of friends out of the room, leaving the 'king' and her brother alone. Harvey had been too busy in his own thoughts to notice the absence of the rest of the group, and seemed absolutely stunned that he focused back to a partially empty room.

Harvey searched in his mind for an answer, he didn't particualarly want to leave, but the shy person in his head screamed to lie and run. He settled for a compromise, and a truthful one at that.
"I was... um... do you... know where there is a library?" He stared at his own feet in shame, a persons face should not become red over a simple question.
